Use Of Apps In Offline Education

By: Hub Blogging

The online education system was used for two years during the pandemic and the lockdowns imposed due to the same. This system of education was very useful when schools, colleges and all other educational institutions like coaching centres and tuition centres were closed.

Ensuring the safety and well-being of the students, teachers and all the other members of staff was important and hence offline physical classes could not be conducted in any educational institution for the students of any age group. The online system of education was the best solution that could help classes run smoothly and ensure that teaching and learning take place without any breaks or halts.

Orders have been passed by the state governments of almost all states in the country to reopen schools and colleges and resume offline classes.

These orders have been passed for the students of all age groups and the educational institutions will reopen with full strength. In many parts of the country, schools, colleges, coaching centres and tuition centres have reopened for all students.

Classes have resumed after two years of online classes being conducted. While initially, it was not easy to switch from the offline system of education to the online system of education, the students and teachers became very familiar with the tools of this system and also got used to the system.

Now, it is equally difficult to return to the offline system as the students and teachers have gotten used to using education apps and online platforms and the convenience offered by the same.

The online system of education opened the doors for new opportunities and paved the way for a variety of new platforms to emerge for supporting the activities related to education. These platforms were apps, websites and software that could be installed or accessed using a personal computer, a laptop, a tablet and even a smartphone. Education apps of different types emerged and took over the online space.

Different online apps like online teaching apps, learning apps, apps for conducting online classrooms, apps for conducting exams and so on came up. Other than apps and websites, plug-ins and additional tools were created for digitalising and automating various tasks and making the online experience similar to that of the offline traditional classroom experience.

The apps and websites that were in use in the online education system made teaching and learning highly flexible. These platforms also digitalised and automated the tedious tasks to help everyone focus better on the more important parts of their work.

Education apps, meant for teaching, learning, exams, presentations and all other activities, helped in overcoming the shortcomings and loopholes of the offline system. When classes resume in the offline mode, education apps can still be in use for various purposes. These applications can be utilized for overseeing various undertakings and furthermore decrease the requirement for paper and consequently saving the climate as a rule.

The online education apps for sharing study material and assigning homework can be used by the teachers for sharing course content with their students and giving them the work they need to complete.

This way students do not have to note it all down and can find all their study material organised in one place. Education apps that were used for notifying the students of the important information about their classes or schedule can also be used for the same purpose in the offline system. Teachers can use online resources for creating content and the students can use learning apps for self-study.

Even when offline classes resume and the students and teachers will be back in their offline classrooms, the apps and websites and platforms used for education will stay in use.

These platforms will provide the assistance to the teachers and students in simplifying their everyday tasks and also enhancing their offline education experience.

While many people would say that the students have become lazier and would not really be active when they have to return to traditional classes this is not exactly the case. With the right motivation from the teachers like success quotes, inspiring anecdotes and so on, the students will be back on track and be all set to attend offline classes.
